Mentor Coaching

Where are you currently in your journey as a coach?

    • You may be applying for the ACC as your first ICF accreditation!
    • Perhaps it’s time to renew your coaching credential and you’re looking for personalized learning. o
    • You may be ready to take the next step toward the PCC or MCC level!
    • Or perhaps you feel it’s time to strengthen and expand your coaching skills.
    • What would it be like to cultivate a deeper awareness of your “inner coach,” strengthen and expand your abilities, and develop your own unique style as a coach?

The ICF defines Mentor Coaching for credentialing as a collaborative, appreciative, and dialogue-based process of coaching and feedback, grounded in the observation or recording of a coaching session, with the goal of increasing the coach’s capability in alignment with the ICF Core Competencies.

Mentor Coaching provides professional support to help coaches achieve and demonstrate the levels of competence required for their desired credential level. It takes place over an extended period of time (a minimum of three months) within a structured cycle that includes observation, feedback, reflection, and practice.

While these standards provide the framework, every mentor coaching journey is unique. My role is not only to help you demonstrate the ICF Core Competencies but also to deepen your confidence, expand your awareness, and develop a coaching practice that feels authentic to you.

As an ICF-qualified Mentor Coach who has earned the Mentor Coach Specialization (MCS) accreditation for ACC, PCC, and MCC Mentor Coaching, I offer a mentor coaching experience that is both rigorous and deeply supportive. My approach combines competency-based feedback with genuine partnership, creating a reflective space where you can build on your strengths, broaden your awareness, and integrate the ICF Core Competencies in a way that is true to your own coaching style.

Whether you are preparing for your ACC, PCC, or MCC credential, renewing an existing credential, or simply committed to elevating your coaching practice, my intention is to create an optimal learning environment where you can explore your coaching from different perspectives, refine your skills, and grow in confidence, competence, and your authentic expression as a coach.

We will begin by exploring where you are in your coaching journey, identifying your strengths as well as the areas where you would like to grow and develop. From there, we will create a mentoring agreement and a personalised development plan aligned with your goals, ensuring that our work together is purposeful and meaningful.

We will agree on how we will collaborate and tailor the process to your individual preferences, your way of learning, reflecting, and integrating feedback, as well as the changes you wish to create. Together, we will define the rhythm of our sessions and how we will manage your coaching recordings, allowing sufficient time for preparation, observation, reflection, and meaningful feedback throughout the mentoring journey.

My goal as your Mentor Coach is to create a space and an optimal learning environment where you can explore your coaching from different perspectives, evolve in your practice, and continue developing the excellence, confidence, competence, and unique expression that define you as a coach.

As part of the process, there will be times when we take a more evaluative perspective, considering what occurred during a coaching session, when it occurred, and how it aligned with the ICF Core Competencies. At other times, we will explore your thinking and decision-making as you reflect on your responses to your client, the choices you made throughout the conversation, and what those choices reveal about your coaching.

The mentor coaching process creates opportunities for self-reflection and continuous learning. It encourages greater self-awareness as a coach, supports the ongoing refinement of your skills, and helps you expand your perceptual capacity and the range of possibilities available to you in your coaching conversations.

Throughout our work together, you will have space to reflect on how your coaching impacts both you and your clients, and how your practice expresses your unique embodiment of the ICF Core Competencies, your personal coaching style, and your professional purpose—your own “north star.”
